Once again bringing many of the acts from Byron Bay's Bluesfest to Western Australia, West Coast Blues & Roots have announced a lineup that brings together countless legends of blues, rock and folk, with John Fogerty, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Pogues and Buddy Guy among the many gracing the stages at Freemantle Park on April 1.

For 2012, West Coast Blues & Roots once again does its best to outdo its 2011 lineup with a selection of the finest artists from a handful of genres.

West Coast Blues & Roots sees a returning performance by John Fogerty, who last headlined the festival in 2008. This time he returns to play Cosmo's Factory in full, the iconic Credence Clearwater Revival album featuring Lookin' Out My Back Door and Who'll Stop The Rain among others.

The blues front is ably represented with return performances by Chicago legend Buddy Guy and contemporary bluesman Keb' Mo'.

Folk supergroup Crosby, Stills and Nash round out the legendary Americana headliners for West Coast Blues & Roots festival, which also features performances from The Pogues, The Specials, My Morning Jacket, Steve Earle, Trombone Shorty, Husky, Zydecats and Felicity Groom.

West Coast Blues & Roots Festival takes place April 1, 2012 at Fremantle Park, Fremantle WA.
