The Bombay Royale are a Melbourne band dedicated to honoring and reviving the funky, bizarre and mysterious music of vintage Indian cinema. Dusting off near-unheard relics, smashing out Bollywood classics and putting down surfadelic Hindi originals is all in a day’s work for The Bombay Royale. This band brings the sound of the Golden Age of Bollywood back to the future, where it belongs.
To celebrate the arrival of Summer, Love and General Goodtimes Melbourne’s favourite Blooywood Surf Disco Funk band The Bombay Royale will be taking over the Toff in town every Monday up to Xmas in December! Just for You.
So start the week in style, drink a mojito with the Tiger, dance with La Femme Mysterieuse or do a shady property deal with the Skipper. With a special guest DJ on the decks each week spinning vintage wax from Bollywood and beyond. It's gonna be swell so make sure you've got it in the diary...
