Bonnie 'Prince' Billy and Roots Manuva top second Golden Plains Announcement

After announcing Bon Iver and 13th Floor Elevators front-man Roky Erickson earlier this month, Aunty Meredith has dropped the rest of the bill for the 6th annual Golden Plains festival.

If things weren't looking appealing enough after the first announcement of Bon Iver and Roky Erickson for 2012's Golden Plains festival, then now is the time to get excited. Topped by folk chantreuse Bonnie 'Prince' Billy and hip-hop firebrand Roots Manuva, it firms as one of the festival's most diverse line-up's to date.

Joining those four names are haunting Minnesota three-piece Low, psych-rockers The Black Lips, soul crooner Charles Bradley, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti and...ahem...Australia's number one Kiss tribute act, Kisstroyer, amongst a number of others detailed below.

Slated to run from the 10th - 12th of March, 2012's Golden Plains proves to be, as ever, one of the most attractice prospects on the Australian Festival calendar. The ticket ballot closes on October 24th (to be drawn on October 17), while the full round of online sales opens on November 4th. More line-up announcements and festival previews will arrive here in due time, while all the officialities can be found at the official site here.

Full Line-Up
Bon Iver, Roky Erickson, Roots Manuva, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Chic Featuring Neil Rodgers, Wild Flag, Charles Bradley, The Black Lips, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Low, Urge Overkill, Dexter, Endless Boogie, First Aid Kit, Lanie Lane, Kisstroyer, Canyons, The Celibate Rifles, Harmony, Seekae, Naysayer and Gilsun, Lost Animal, Hunting Grounds, DJ Rupture, Two Bright Lakes DJs, This Thing and more to come.
