In a welcome stab of orignality to aussie hip-hop, Sydney's Phatchance is touring his acoustic hip-hop show. In accordance, we've got a double pass to give away to this weekend's show in Sydney!
After a year of relentless touring in support of debut release Inkstains (including support slots with Method Man & Redman,) Phatchance took a step back from beat-driven Aussie hip-hop to drop an acoustic hip-hop EP alongside label-mate Coptic Soldier. The sound is a unique take on the genre, merging hip-hop rhythms with laidback acoustic arrangements, a meeting of two traditional opposites for something strangely congruous.
With lead single Build It Up currently receiving rotation at Triple J and independent radio, Phatchance is fast becoming one of Sydney's premier unsigned hip-hop artists.
