Splendour and Moshtix officials are warning folks after the coveted Splendour tickets this morning that if they're planning on using a Westpac-related credit card they should make other plans or face disappointment.

So if you're with Westpac, including affiliated banks like St. George, Citibank, Horizon, Bank SA, Jetstar or have one of the Virgin-turned-Westpac Ignite cards then you better find a friend with another bank ASAP!

We're not being told where the problem is coming from at this stage, or if they plan on having it resolved while tickets are still on sale, but word from officials is that right now you have a 0% chance of getting through with your normally-trusty Westpac credit/debit card.

Moshtix put the problem down to issues at Westpac's end, and it's likely related to a Westpac datacentre shutdown that has seen online banking, ATM and EFTPOS transactions with the bank falter this morning.

Of course this is on top of the usual Splendour ticket buying fiasco that this year includes excessive waits, server errors and random loopholes that see some folks skip ahead of those waiting in line.

It wouldn't be Splendour without some major ticket hiccup now would it?
