In the second installment of our ongoing series leading into 2011's Splendour in the Grass festival, we feature experimental New Zealand prodigy, Liam Finn.

After fronting much-loved Kiwi act Betchadupa, Liam Finn went solo to pursue a project that has become quirky experimental rock, dabbling in home-made instrumentation and bizarre electronics. His appearance at Splendour will follow his soon to be released LP Fomo, a startlingly unique venture that mixes fuzzed guitars with his genetic blood-gift of melody.

Likely to be wedged into the early afternoon on the GW McLennan stage, Finn will be a powerful early start to one of Splendour's three days of festival. Prepare to be confounded by his use of loop pedals as he jumps from guitar to drums and back to vocals with his accompanist, Eliza Jane.
