Joanna Newsom returns to Australia this March

With the release of another incredible album Have One on Me hugely talented singer – songwriter Joanna Newsom returns to Australia this March, to present her latest selection of song suites with her band.
Her music is at once beguiling, confounding and delightful, displaying an astonishing mix of genres and traditions. Her vocals often exude an ethereal quality, and she moves easily from soft, delicate and sweet through to raw and wild, as her words tell their tales. Continuing her earlier work in The Milk-Eyed Mender and Ys Joanna’s harp is ever present and an exquisite pairing to her voice.
Since developing a huge underground following, Joanna has played at festivals the world over – including the fabulous Patti Smith curated Meltdown – and has toured with the likes of Will Oldham, Cat Power and Devendra Banhart.
