The Waifs return with Temptation

The much-anticipated followup to 2006's acclaimed Sun, Dirt, Water, Temptation is the latest from Australian folk legends The Waifs. The group are supporting the release the only way they know how -- by hitting the road for an exhaustive national tour starting next week.

Recorded in the intimate setting of a house/studio in St. Paul, Minnesota over the course of two weeks, the album goes back to the collaborative writing process of their earlier albums with Vikki Thorn penning four of the album's tracks, sister Donna Simpson four and Josh Cunningham three, after authoring most of the songs on Sun, Dirt, Water.

Starting next week the band will be hitting the road for a month of shows, taking in every mainland state and territory along the way.

Temptation is released March 4 through Jarrah Records/MGM Distribution.
