Following a speedy sellout of Bluesfest's Monday and a fierce battle of words via the nation's media over council approval for a sixth day at Bluesfest, organisers have today unveiled their plans for the Anzac Day holiday at the Tyagarah home of Bluesfest.

As was always to be the case, Bob Dylan will be headlining the festival's first ever sixth day, which will include a host of Australian and international legends.

Joining Dylan will be Elvis Costello, Gurrumul, Paul Kelly, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Tim Finn, Tony Joe White, Eli Paperboy Reed, and The Mad Bastards. Organisers say there's more to be announced.

Many of the acts are already scheduled to play other days at Bluesfest, but it's the first inclusion of Paul Kelly and Tim Finn, both legendary performers that are no strangers to the stages of Bluesfest.

As tickets to Bob Dylan's Monday performance are completely sold out, this sixth day gives punters another opportunity to catch the legendary songwriter at Bluesfest. Tickets are on sale now for Bluesfest day six.
