Already featuring names like Doves, Kool & The Gang, De La Soul and Kate Nash, Sydney's Playground Weekender has dropped a huge second announcement of names for their February festival.

The Playground Weekender isn't just one of our favourite festivals, it has also won Best Crowd and Atmosphere twice since its inception in 2007 and continues to nab rave reviews each time it spins around the calendar. Having focused on their DJ and dance acts in years prior, 2011 sees them bolster their line-up of artists with some truly sizeable names to add to their already impressive roster.

Topping their announcement with electronic acts Lamb and Tricky, Playground follow these up with Australian rock vanguard's You Am I, The Beautiful Girls and the international musings of LA's The Like.

The complete second announcement includes the following with even more to be announced.

Lamb  / Tricky / The Beautiful Girls / Architecture in Helsinki / You Am I / Midnight Juggernauts / Mayer Hawthorne & County / Derrick Carter / Black Mountain / The Like / I Am Kloot / Dixon / Ame  / Ewan Pearson / Mad Professor / Mock & Toof (DFA) / Fort Knox Five / Trus’me / Mark De Clive Lowe / Lorn / Parades / Black Angus & Dangerous Dan (You Only Live Once) / Grace Woodroofe / Rat Vs Possum / King Cannons / Giselle / Electric Empire / Rephrase / Fait Accompli / Andy Bull / Slow Down Honey

The entire line-up sits attractively below this paragraph for your interested perusal. Tickets for 2011's Playground Weekender are on sale now...and considering how much of a blast we've had the last few years, they're tickets you should most definitely get your hands on.
