That 1 Guy returns to Australia

That 1 Guy is no stranger to Australian shores. Any veteran of Woodford or Bluesfest will likely have seen this bizarre troubadour and his trademark seven foot Magic Pipe instrument, singing songs about weasle pot pie and the disgusting moon. This summer Mike Silverman returns to our shores next week with a new album and a brand new Magic Pipe.

With shows centered around That 1 Guy’s inventive instrument, the Magic Pipe: a seven-foot tall collection of swiveling pipes, metal gears, bass strings and electronic buttons, all connected by a rainbow of colored-wires, That One Guy is music you have to see to believe, as thousands of fans worldwide will attest.

Playing 200-odd shows each year, That 1 Guy returns yet again to our shores next week for a six week tour that sees him playing at venues and festivals across the country. Combining absurdist songwriting, pumping beats with one of the most surreal displays of showmanship you're ever likely to see, a That 1 Guy is a real treat.
