With Sydney and Melbourne Laneway Festivals having sold out in record time, Brooklyn’s favourite skewed pop sons are most excited to announce two exclusive club shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Riding high on the success of their sold out Australian tour earlier this year and the wonderful “Ambling Alp”, “O.N.E.” & “Madder Red” singles from their outstanding Odd Blood album, Yeasayer are a band whose musical domain now spans twisted ambient rhythms blended with powerful and ambitious electronics and hook laden playful pop, never depriving the listener of delicious ear candy whilst also never sacrificing depth or content.
Following their recent tour in support of 2010's Splendour in the Grass, Yeasayer are once again taking their broad influenced brand of indie pop to the nation for St. Jerome's Laneway Festival, alongside two sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne on the following dates:
Monday 7th February 2011 – Metro Theatre, Sydney
Thursday 10th February 2011 – Billboard, Melbourne
