With a new single in 'Dan Kelly's Dream' prepped to hit shelves, frazzle-haired Melbournian Dan Kelly is preparing to walk the Australian festival trail this summer with a few gigs in-between.

"I fell asleep on a tram, Harry Potter in hand, woke up drooling in the South of Vietnam." So begins the latest single from Dan Kelly's latest album Dan Kelly's Dream, appropriately, of the same name. Featuring teen backing vocals, real chickens, 'Hendrix at Woodstock-esque' guitar solos and synthesised typhoons alongside some of his quirkiest storytelling, it's a great track from a great album which we heaped praise on here.

In turn, Dan and his Dream Band have announced a formidable swathe of festival appearances across the country this summer, from Queenscliff to Falls via Peats Ridge.
