Ahead of the full lineup due to be announced on November 17, the folks at WOMAD have announced a few acts as a sneak preview, with Angus & Julia Stone topping the list for the festival, taking place March 11-14 2011 in Adelaide's Botanic Park.

Australia's favourite brother-sister duo Angus & Julia Stone will make their WOMADelaide debut next March. The ARIA nominated musicians are very excited to be part of the festival - "We've heard so many good things about WOMADelaide from friends and family around the world. They speak of a festival that invites different sounds and colours of music to the stage so we can't wait to be a part of it," they said.

Also on the bill will be the legendary UK supergroup Afro Celt Sound System, reunited after three years apart, and making a welcome return to Australia and WOMADelaide after 10 years.

In addition....
* The globally celebrated genius of UK-based musician / producer Nitin Sawhney in a DJ set and as the Musical Director of the All-Star Gala on the final evening of the festival.
* The energetic punk-inspired Mongolian folk band, Hanggai from China.
* The stunning ten-voice Creole Choir of Cuba who recreate musical treasures from Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
* Dazzling accordionist Alan Kelly and his famed Alan Kelley Quartet from Ireland.
* The sonic voodoo rhythms of Egypt-based Sudanese group Rango.
* The aural beauty of shehnai and flute master Rajendra Prasanna from India.
* The frenetic sounds of Syrian folk-pop superstar and wedding singer Omar Souleyman
