With a trio of legends and some whopping big names at the top of the bill, Sydney`s Playground Weekender Festival is making all steps to impress in February 2011.

Set 1.5 hours North of Sydney on the banks of the Hawkesbury River, the Playground Weekender has long been a favourite festival of ours and by the looks of the line-up for 2011, there`s not much set to change. With funk and disco legends Kool & The Gang topping the bill alongside similarly legendary innovators Roy Ayers and De La Soul, Playground is a festival set to be taken seriously.

Add to that some big names from this generation in Doves, Kate Nash and Caribou and you can imagine that there`s a pretty decent line forming at the foot of the Playground Weekender Office.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Monday the 18th of October, with the full line-up listed below

Doves
Kool & The Gang
De La Soul
Kate Nash
Caribou
Four Tet
Roy Ayers

Hungry Kids Of Hungary
Toro Y Moi

Tom Middleton
