Augie March's Glenn Richards announces solo shows

With a new album, Glimjack, soon to be released, and single, Torpor & Spleen, getting a spin on the radio, Glenn Richards is set to announce two very special launch shows in November.
From a cold and cavernous warehouse in Fairfield, to the sticky, steaming streets of NYC mid-heatwave, Glenn has emerged, relatively unscathed with his first solo album complete with a few tall tales to tell. Glimjack was produced by Glenn and mixed by Victor Van Vugt (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Sarah Blasko, The Panics).
Glenn prefers to describe his first solo effort as “an album of songs written by me that happens to feature other players”. Those other players include friends - Dan Luscombe, Mike Noga and Ben Bourke, along with Glenn’s brother Chris, all of whom will join Glenn for his launch shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
Glenn plays the Corner Hotel, Melbourne on November 5 and The Metro, Sydney on November 12 in what is sure to be two very memorable performances.
