“We’re really happy with the line up so far and we will be announcing the second round of another 50 acts in July,” said the organisers. “Now there is a line‐up, people will be able to see a bit more of what we’re about and what we hope BAM! to be.”
BAM! Festival is a 24 hour, non‐stop, 3‐day camping festival that gives local and national talent the opportunity to play in a festival setting.
Evan Shaw, Marketing Manager, reinforces this idea by saying that BAM! wants to start from a grassroots beginning, and prosper in years to come.
“With so many festivals already on the calendar and more being established we have our work cut out for us but we think BAM! will fill a niche local market that no other festivals are fulfilling,” Shaw said. “We want everyone to know we’re about supporting local and national artists and DJ’s while giving festival goers an intimate and unique experience.”
The first line‐up is a showcase of talent sure to cater for most music tastes. A second line‐up will be announced in July as BAM! were overwhelmed with artist applications.
BAM! Festival is being held at Ivory’s Rock Conference Centre from the 8th – 10th of October. Single day tickets including camping are on sale now for more information visit www.BAM2010.com
