The Crystal Axis from Midnight Juggernauts out tomorrow

The wait for Midnight Juggernauts 2010 album is finally over with Melbourne band releasing their ambition 'The Crystal Axis' this Friday 28 May on Siberia Records via Inertia.

Awarded feature album status on triple j and FBi Radio, Midnight Juggernauts are also pleased to announce that Dappled Cities, Canyons and Kirin J Callinan will join them as special guests on their album launch tour. 

Catch Midnight Juggernauts on Thursday 12 August at The  Gov in Adelaide, Saturday 14 August at The Capitol in Perth, Thursday 19 August at The Forum in Melbourne, Friday 20 August at The Forum in Sydney, and Saturday 21 August at the Hi Fi in Brisbane. Tickets are on sale now for all shows.

The Crystal Axis had its genesis in early 2009 when Midnight Juggernauts wired themselves into a house on a remote stretch of coastal New South Wales. Emerging with a collection of songs ripe for recording at Melbourne’s Sing Sing studios, the band again opted to self-produce with engineer Chris Moore (TV on the Radio, Yeasayer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars) facilitating.

Featuring the singles ’Vital Signs’ and ’This New Technology’, The Crystal Axis is a 50-minute symphony of synth-rock invention. Released with a limited edition, seven track bonus disc, it provides the follow up to the trio’s successful debut album, Dystopia, which established them with audiences across the globe.
