Gosteleradio’s (pronounced Gostel-e-radio) accomplished debut album Great Deeds Against The Dead is a lustrous pop record with dreamy, harmony-drenched choruses layered on clouds of synths, guitar and bass. The album was largely recorded by Brent Pushon (Ouch My Face, Legends of Motorsport) at Head Gap Studios and mixed by The Calculators.  Released on 7 May 2010, the album has received glowing reviews across the country.

Initially started as a recording project for brothers Ben and Josh Strong (ex Plug-in City), Gosteleradio morphed into a three-piece when their good friend Marty Umanski (TTT) joined the group on drums, and the band extended its focus to the live circuit.

Since late 2009 Gosteleradio have performed with TTT, Dead Dog (Liam Andrews and Rohan Reberio of My Disco), Peace Out!, Houlette, and i=it; released a split 12” with Houlette; and performed to a packed room at The Northcote Social Club in Melbourne.

Described as ”stunning” (Beat), ”absolutely bone chilling” (Fasterlouder) and ”like a beautiful dream” (Rave Magazine), Gosteleradio are thrilled to launch Great Deeds Against the Dead in Melbourne next month.
