Young Heretics set to release debut album “We Are The Lost Loves” as free digital download for a month prior to its official release on May 7th.

In their brief existence as a band, Young Heretics have come onto the Australian music scene with a huge amount of confidence and attitude – something rarely found in a band as young as they are. With less than 8 months of live experience up their sleeve, they have looked to push boundaries and develop their own way of doing things from day one – playing in a multitude of live setups, and looking to align themselves with a diverse array of acts and artists across Australia. They set themselves apart as individuals and artists, and look for new innovative ways to get their unique sound across to their audience.

Which is why it should be no surprise that Young Heretics have decided to leak their entire debut album, “We Are The Lost Loves” for free online until it’s release on May 7th. It’s a sign of faith in the power of their music, and a move that exemplifies why the two-piece is one of the most exciting acts to come out of Australian music this year.

Young Heretics is the brainchild of Melbourne based duo, Matthew Wright and Kitty Hart - eccentric twins, both with a love of warped pop music and sonic invention. The dual vocal attack incorporates theatrical soundscapes, driving beats and a selection of over 20 other instruments to create a very dynamic sound. “We Are The Lost Loves” is one of the most original debuts you’re likely to hear in a long time. 11 tracks all recorded in Melbourne over the last year, self funded and self produced, it is a bold statement that is sure to shock anyone who hears it.

The entire album will be available at www.wearethelostloves.com until it’s May 7th release via Boomtown / Shock Records. The band will play a one off Launch show at The Toff In Town on May 8th. Pre order packages are also available at www.wearethelostloves.com

Check out the clip from Young Heretics' first single from the album, "The Lost Loves", filmed and edited on a mobile phone by the band themselves:
