If you're not familiar with the stunning Woodford site, the team behind Splendour in the Grass have unleashed a short preview video showcasing the festival's new surrounds as it makes the move from Byron Bay to the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland.

On the last weekend in July, some 30,000 punters will descend on Woodford to catch some of the 80-odd bands playing at Splendour in the Grass for the festival's tenth anniversary. Topping the bill are The Strokes, Pixies, Ben Harper & Relentless7, The Temper Trap and Mumford & Sons, but that barely scratches the surface of what is probably the festival's best lineup to date -- check out the full Splendour lineup.

Tickets go on sale in just over two weeks (May 6th), and despite the festival's capacity almost doubling on previous years, tickets are sure to be a hot commodity that morning.

This video from the folks at Splendour gives a sneak peak of the new home to the festival with a stack of footage from the festival in action at its original home in Byron bay:
