Byron Bay based roots‐rock powerhouse Dallas Frasca will be kick starting a busy 2010 by returning to Tasmania for two shows in February.

See Dallas and her band in February on Thursday 25 at Launceston’s Hotel New York and Friday 26 at Republic Bar and Café in Hobart. Accompanying Dallas on this tour will be long time cohort Jeff “Moon Boy” Curran on guitar and stomp‐box and new sticks‐man Olly Pescia.

Since releasing her debut album Not For Love Or Money in August 2009 Dallas has been touring non‐stop and these Tasmanian dates will round off the national album launch tour that has rolled through over 30 regional centres, capital cities and every nook and cranny in between.

Not For Love Or Money introduced a heavier, more rock flavoured sound and features an all‐star cast of guests including Melbourne luminaries Liz Stringer and Jess McAvoy playing alongside Dallas and Jeff Curran, and was produced by Forrester Savell (who has worked with Helmet, Karnivool and Cog) at Sing Sing studios in Melbourne.
