Sunset Sounds sells out
6 January 2010
If you were planning on heading along today and buying your tickets up at the gate, bad luck. Brisbane's Sunset Sounds, sister festival of Falls Festival in Victoria and Tasmania, has sold out in its second year running.
The organisers of the two day afternoon and evening event are thrilled that once again, this new kid on the block has satiated the thirst for world class international and national musical luminaries, such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear, Xavier Rudd, Moby and Sarah Blasko, who will perform to some 13,000 patrons spread comfortably across three stages at the stunning Brisbane Botanical and City Gardens and The Riverstage.
Sharing much of the line up from The Falls Music & Arts Festivals, coupled with the picture perfect weather predicted and the positive feedback from patrons that attended in 2009, a sell out was always on the cards.
SUNSET SOUNDS is set to come alive this Wednesday and Thursday with a musical feast straight from the pleased crowds of The Falls Music & Arts Festivals, to indulge the patrons with an unrivalled international & national swag of top shelf artists.
