Jack Johnson returns to Bluesfest

Jack Johnson's 2007 Bluesfest performance with Animal Liberation Orchestra. Favourite of Australian audiences Jack Johnson is set to return to Byron Bay over Easter 2010 as a headline act at the 21st annual Bluesfest.
2010 will mark the first time surfer-turned-filmmaker-turned-muso Jack Johnson has made the trek to Bluesfest since 2005. At least officially. He showed up for an improptu set of favourites with Animal Liberation Orchestra in 2007.
Johnson has performed at Bluesfest several times since 2002, when the then-unknown graced the stages after befriending fellow Bluesfest discovery earlier in the U.S.
It marks Jack Johnson's forth official spot on the Bluesfest bill, and most likely his biggest, with festival organisers tipping his performance date to be a sellout at the new larger Tyagarah festival site that can accommodate around 6,000 more punters than the previous site of Red Devil Park where Johnson last performed.
