With Apollo Bay 2010 getting into gear in the late months of this year, the boys and girls behind the festival are launching the release of their first line-up announcement with barefoot bowls and sneak previews at the Brunswick Bowling Club.

The Apollo Bay Music Festival is delighted to launch its 2010 program with an event that brings the heart of Apollo Bay to the heart of Brunswick, the rolling greens of the Brunswick Bowling Club.

Kicking off at 12 noon Lawn ‘til Dusk is a sneak preview of the some of the artists who will be performing at the 18th Festival in 2010 combined with the fun of a country fair.

Apollo Bay Music Festival Patron Jon von Goes will officially announce the 2010 program which features a stellar line up of international and local artists.

Then the fun stuff - top class music, celebrity bowls, barefoot bowls, an auction with a difference, a sausage sizzle and face painting will bring the spirit of Apollo Bay to the city for a few hours.

One of the most exciting events of the day is sure to be the Apollo Bay Festival Cake of the Year cake competition. Two Festival passes and the honour of cooking the official birthday cake for the Festival’s 18th birthday are up for grabs.

“Apollo Bay is a community festival that artists love to play at and punters love to be at. It’s great to bring a little of the Apollo Bay vibe to the city for one day to let people know what they can expect if they make the trip down the Great Ocean Road next March.” Jon von Goes.
