As desert is to fish, home is to Rogerthat. The hairy stooges/globe trotting rock gods are now packing more hair than a busload of old testament freaks and are tracking their GPS back to Australia in August and Sept.

They´ll hit the road on a two month national oddessy to support their debut album, The Desert’s Call (see first reviews below) playing at the East Bruns next Sat Aug 15th. The band will comb the crumbs (and the other assorted debris that has managed to get traction), from their beards and start it all again when their Canadian and European junket shudders to a halt in the UK later this month. They´ll then head out again almost immediately for the album release tour.

On this, their second international tour, the band has played the Fete de la Musique, French and Dutch festivals, packed, packed clubs, at Dutch beach bars and returned to the scene of their great success in south UK been reviewed fantastically by all. The bands communal love in with Dutch people especially continued on this tour  with the audience literally hanging, and swinging, from the rafters - pre public liability style -  at their Timboktoe beach gig. The respected Dutch online radio/tv station 3voor12 also gave the band a great write up http://3voor12.vpro.nl/artikelen/artikel/42217850

Rog have confirmed supports for their Australian gigs including : the Annandale on Saturday August 8 (the Bungalows supporting), the East Brunswick on Sat 15th August w/ the Blackwater Fever and Revolver and Sun and the Troubadour on Sat Sept 7th and Cooly hotel on  Fri Sept 4 (w/ The Blackwater Fever). The band have made 3 clips for songs from The Desert´s Call thus far with young Canadian director and co-conspirator/clip maker Kaelen Ohm.
