Hold your horses – we’re not finished yet! Not by a long shot. We have about 100 Days, 100 Nights until the almighty artists take their place on The Falls stages. ‘Till then, we have a jewellery box full of golden charms to adorn you with…

Bringing a whole lot of good times, comes: 24 carats topped with bling from Brooklyn’s own dance movement that UK’s Mojo says is both ‘irresistible, and ...boundlessly exciting’, Santogold*(USA);  the shimmy-tastic classy purveyors of modern Rhythm & Blues that have re-written the Dictionary of Funk & Soul, Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings (USA); globally infectious dub, hip hop, afro beat, Latin with soul hues of Blue King Brown;  power-pop and hip-rockin’ post-punk exploits from Cut Off Your Hands (NZ); Nordic slice of pop’n’indie heaven from Lykke Li (Sweden); straight from the dust-bowls of the 1930’s comes countryfied-blues troubadour CW Stoneking & the Primitive Horn Orchestra; bringing their unique blend of dancehall, hip hop, electro and Miami Bass come the South Rakkas Crew*(USA); an invite-only, desert-trip journey lead by the psychedelic Tame Impala; bold-beat-laden synth-pop-gems from Grafton Primary; independent hip-hop stalwart MURS (USA); raw and reliable riffage compliments of Violent Soho; the lushfull tunes from Laura Jean & the Eden Land Band*; West African kora musician, the incredible Mamadou Diabate (Mali);  the stunningly crafted dense, rich, dramatic folk of Kat Frankie*; a 7 piece mash up of traditional Eastern European, Latin, rockabilly and tango sounds from The Barons of Tang*; new pop sensation Dash & Will, and for some sunshine, merriment and banjo-toting goodness, Skipping Girl Vinegar*. Because, after all, there’s nothing better than a good time. That’s not it though folks. No, indeed not, far from it in fact. We have many more still to come!

So,  the line-up is now looking like this: Franz Ferdinand(UK); The Hives (Sweden); Santogold*(USA);  Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings (USA); Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed & The True Loves (USA); The Cat Empire; The Kooks (UK); The Grates; Gomez (UK); Tegan & Sara (Canada); Fleet Foxes (USA); Blue King Brown; Faker; Augie March*; SoKo (France); Donavon Frankenreiter (USA); Ash Grunwald; Jamie Lidell (UK); TZU; Mystery Jets (UK); Architecture in Helsinki; Cut Off Your Hands (NZ);Atmosphere featuring Brother Ali (USA); The Cribs* (UK); Late Of The Pier(UK); The Drones; The Dodos (USA); A-Trak (Canada); Rocket Science*; Wolf & Cub; Liam Finn (NZ); British India*; Labjacd* & Tinpan Orange*; Lykke Li (Sweden); CW Stoneking & the Primitive Horn Orchestra; South Rakkas Crew*(USA); Tame Impala; Grafton Primary; MURS (USA); Violent Soho; Laura Jean & the Eden Land Band*; Mamadou Diabate (Mali);  Kat Frankie*; The Barons of Tang*; Dash & Will; Skipping Girl Vinegar* with more to be announced.

*Lorne, Vic only: see website.

The Falls Funk’n’Soul Revue: Marion Bay, Tasmania, December 29th - a hip-happenin’ bayside hustle. Spinning the platters that matter; vintage 45’s all the way from the Deep South of the US of A, all the way to the deep dwellings of the Apple Isle, for a go-go dancin’, hip shakin’, par-tay!
