Fat As Butter Festival coming to Newcastle

The biggest festival of the year has landed with the inaugural FAT AS BUTTER set to run a hot knife through Newcastle on Sunday the 2nd of November.

Taking place at Newcastle Foreshore (Camp Shortland, opposite Nobby’s Beach), FAT AS BUTTER will be spreading its musical goodness across two stages – including a dance stage for those of you who are boogie-inclined.

Tipping the scales with an impressive first round line-up, the festival sees international heavyweights The Dandy Warhols, share the stage with Faker, Regurgitator, The Potbelleez, Butterfingers, Ajax and more!

Coming to you all the way from Portland, Oregon, The Dandy Warhols will be greasing up the main stage with their own brand of pop-psychedelia. Originating in 1993, the Dandy’s cemented their cult status in the hit indie-rockumentary, Dig!, and have recently released their sixth studio album, Earth to the Dandy Warhols…, which is out now.

Promising to give you more music per calorie than any other festival, the FAT AS BUTTER line up includes, The Dandy Warhols, Faker, Regurgitator, Butterfingers, Grafton Primary, The Seabellies, The Potbelleez, Ajax, Bag Raiders, Gameboy/Gamegirl, Beats Working and Timmy Trumpet & Tenzin (playing between sets).

Plus more yet to be announced! Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more updates - in the meantime, head to www.fatasbutter.com.au for further details.
