After late nights in a rehearsal room in Brunswick eating too many 'on special' chocolate bars and rocking out to the sounds of the other bands through the walls, Emma Heeney & The Daves (and the non-Dave member who's name can't be mentoined so as to keep the illusion...let's just call her, Dave) are ready to take to the streets of Melbourne!
After late nights in a rehearsal room in Brunswick eating too many 'on special' chocolate bars and rocking out to the sounds of the other bands through the walls, Emma Heeney & The Daves (and the non-Dave member who's name can't be mentoined so as to keep the illusion...let's just call her, Dave) are ready to take to the streets of Melbourne! Well, at least to the venues of Melbourne, with thier catchy acoustic pop. See them open The Good Seed Festival this Sunday at The Northcote Town Hall, then come on down to The East Brunswick Club on March 28th as they share the stage with The Rayleens and The Kindness of Strangers (Bris) who will be launching thier album on the night.
If that isn't enough Dave for you then head to The Empress for thier Thursday night May residency at which they will share the stage with D. Rogers, The Little Stevies, Duck Dive & The Basics, plus other special guests yet to be confirmed.
In other news, the new single 'Wall By Wall' is being sent off to radio this week. Fingers crossed (& feel free to call/email requests as often as you wish!).
